  • Student produces a design according to the technical and non-technical specifications
  • Student draws up the documentation for the product by writing a technical design report
  • Student selects and assembles components into a prototype product based on the specifications
  • Student documents the realization process by writing a logbook
  • Student draws up a milestone planning for the project and monitors the project progress by using meeting agendas and writing minutes and acts accordingly
  • Student formulates problem definition and goal of the project
  • Student evaluates the results of the project by drawing conclusions in relation to the problem definition
  • Student reflects on own actions, thoughts and outcomes and changes behaviour accordingly

Content

For this project, students work in groups. All groups have periodical meetings with their tutor, who is responsible for guiding the group and assessing individual participation of students. The project is divided into tasks. All groups must do all the tasks. Tasks can be theoretical (like report writing) or practical (like implementation or presentation). Each task has its own deadline and deliverables. The final project grade is a combination of the grades for each task, considering individual participation. The focus of this project is on the topic Energy.
