This course introduces the core principles of sales and provides insight into the economic aspects of marketing and sales decisions. You will study the role of the salesperson, the skills required for effective selling, and the key success factors that support sales performance.

Key topics include pricing and its impact on demand, market structures, the three Ps (people, planet, and profit), and different types of business cycles. Throughout the course, theory is supported by learning activities that help you apply the concepts in practice and understand how sales decisions influence organisational success.

By the end of the course, you will understand how to develop effective sales strategies, operate in real-life sales situations, and use microeconomic and macroeconomic factors to support informed decision-making.
