Content

This course provides an integrated approach to operations and process management in service and manufacturing organisations. Students examine strategic alignment, process design, implementation, and continuous control to improve efficiency, quality, and competitiveness. The course connects to entrepreneurship by developing capabilities to optimise and scale business processes. It has a strong link to sustainability and social impact through the critical evaluation of ethical issues and the sustainability implications of operational decisions for flows, products, services, and processes, aligning most strongly with SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure).
