Content
This course combines intermediate finance and economics to analyse how organisations create and sustain value through informed financial decision-making and an understanding of market dynamics. Students develop skills in working capital management, capital budgeting, and the interpretation of economic trends to assess business performance and future opportunities. The course supports entrepreneurship by strengthening data-driven evaluation of investment and growth options. It connects to sustainability and social impact through its focus on long-term performance and responsible resource allocation, aligning most strongly with SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production).
