Content
A key principle of the Healthcare Management program is that the learning context is intertwined with the work context. Professional practices in healthcare, social services, and the societal domain are key and are incorporated into the program as much as possible through practical training.
During their studies, students are challenged to become acquainted with various organizations in addition to their own or future professional practice and to examine issues from different perspectives, including societal challenges (LOP, 2025). Therefore, practical training is a key component of the Healthcare Management program. In the third year, 20 weeks are dedicated to learning within the professional context of healthcare and social services. During these 20 weeks, students focus on achieving the above-mentioned PLUs and the learning objectives they have established.
The following professional themes are central:
Organizing
Changing & Transforming
Leading Oneself and Others
Context of Healthcare and Social Services
