Inhoud
Besides working in the studio, students have the opportunity to take electives, open to students from all Minerva BA programmes: OffCourses or Capita Selecta. In this way Fine Art students work interdisciplinarily in classes with students and teachers from different backgrounds, such as BA Design, BA Popular Culture and BA Education in Arts.
When it comes to the Studio Electives in the Third Year, students have the opportunity to gear the study towards individual development but also to discover unknown knowledge or new ways of doing research, broadening theory, and making unexpected combinations. In finding an individual identity as an artist – to act and think like an artist – it is necessary to broaden the perspective of students by confronting them with unknown viewpoints.
