LO1: Students are able to formulate a digital marketing strategy for small, medium and large enterprises
LO2: Students are able to demonstrate understanding of online consumer behavior
LO3: Students are able to distinguish between traditional and online marketing environment
LO4: Students are able to demonstrate solid understanding of digital analytics and its effect on company performance.
 

Inhoud

This course known as ‘Digital Marketing Fundamentals’ takes the core principles of marketing and places them in an online environment. Internet use is part of our daily routine which has resulted into a radical change of consumer buying behavior. At the core of this course we will look at the basic marketing principles in an online environment, digital marketing strategies and the effective utilization and understanding of digital analytics. The fundamentals of this online marketing course are based on:
 
  1. Understanding digital marketing, digital strategy and business models.
  2. Understand the online consumer behavior and what drives people to buy online.
  3. Understand the value creation in an online environment
  4. Learn the basics of digital analytics. How to track and measure in an online environment.
 
Students are also required to test their knowledge further by following certified courses on the Digital Learning platform of Google. The modules within google learning digital that we will cover are; (i) Take a business online and (ii) Track and measure web traffic
