Inhoud
The theme in this block (2.3) is "Support and Commitment". The course zooms in on operations- and supply chain management and at the same time zooms out and dealing with contemporary topics. In this module the main focus is on creating value
in the supply chain. In OPM1 Operations Management is explained (block 1.3), and in OPM2 Supply Chain Management is explained (block 2.1). In this block we take the Value Chain Management point of view and include contemporary topics like: Sustainability,
Robotics, Smart Factories and more. The course Operations Management 3 (Value Chain Management) has the objective to teach theory and link this to practise. This is done in the lectures and in the practical assignment (PO2). The course is delivered on the end-level (level 3) that means that this will include a high level of complexity and also a high level of selfmanagement of the student.
