- The student understands the concepts and applications of databases.
- The student designs a relational database for storing and retrieving data using e.g. MySQL.
- The student creates a program that queries and updates data stored in a relational database.
Inhoud
Being able to store large amounts of data in a structure way is becoming more and more necessary. In this course you will learn about how to design and implement a database that is able to store the data of a specific application/system in a structured way. Next to making the database you will write a program in Java that is able to talk to this database. You will be able to add/change/remove and request data in the database. All these skills will be needed for a large assignment.
