Leeruitkomsten
The student:
- understands the basic concepts of Artificial Intelligence (AI);
- can judge whether AI techniques can be used to address a given problem;
- can decide which (if any) problem solving method from AI is most suitable to address a given problem;
- can implement various AI techniques and apply them in a practical setting;
- knows the relations between AI and other components of an IoT system.
Inhoud
In this course various concepts from the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be addressed:
- Overview of the field of AI.
- Machine learning, artificial neural networks, supervised and unsupervised learning.
- Clustering methods, classification methods.
- Multi-dimensional data analysis, dimensionality reduction.
- Generalisation, anomaly detection.
- AI in practice, applications of AI.
