At the end of this study unit, the student will be able to:
- Develop his/her time management skills by making a project planning
- Formulate clear learning goals and personal development goals
- Reflect on his/her own performance
- Give specific feedback in a constructive manner
- Prepare and deliver an oral presentation with a clear structure using visual aids
- Listen actively to the presentations of others and give feedback accordingly
- Reflect on own presentation skills
- Design an interview to obtain relevant information from a customer/expert
- Apply appropriate rules in either written or oral communication
Inhoud
- Personal development: The student develops life-long learning skills, feedback and listening skills
- Project management: The student learns how to manage a project, including chairing and organizing meetings, and time-management skills
- Presentation Skills: The student practices her/his presentation skills getting feedback from the lecturer and getting/giving feedback to other students
- Report writing: The students have an introduction to learn how to write scientific reports following the conventions of academic style
