The student:
  • conveys their message clearly in English, justifying their arguments
  • structures his presentation clearly, and supports it with visual resources and verbal/non-verbal behaviour
  • makes effective contact with the audience (eye contact, tackling the question, and so on), and knows how to captivate and enthuse the audience
  • reflects on the feedback received from their lecturer and peers, and uses it to reflect on their presentation(s)
formulates at least two points for development for themselves, stating reasons
 

Inhoud

This training focuses on presentation skills. The training deals with the structuring of a presentation and how to deliver a presentation. This means that non-verbal communication, use of English and use of voice are dealt with. Reflection and progress monitoring are part of the process and assessment as the intention is that personal growth in presenting is paid attention to. Another part of the assessmen is the delivery of a convincing presentation in which all aspects dealt with in the training are assessed.
