Learning results
  1. Develops (new) solutions for a specific Future Health challenge that is connected to an international context, or evaluates existing solutions for a specific Global Health challenge that has an international dimension on its merits.
  2. Applies knowledge and skills acquired in the project assignment. Is, on the basis of relevant scientific knowledge and insights, able to define, analyse and propose solutions for complex problems in the professional practice.
  3. The student will acquire knowledge about core aspects, theories and research in the fields of Healthy Ageing, looking into different perspectives (social, economic, cultural and paramedic).
  4. Can search for, analyse and interpret relevant and current information in the fields of Global Health and Health challengees.
  5. Uses a project-based approach and works together with students from other cultures and disciplines.

Inhoud

Plan, design and create a health promotion intervention and elaborate how this intervention can contribute to a Future Health issue. The aim is to improve health and wellbeing holistically in order to optimize opportunities for successful individual and/or population ageing. There should be a clear rationale for the intervention based on existing cross-cultural knowledge of health promotion / illness prevention. The rationale must be evidenced based and clearly demonstrate why the intervention is appropriate and practical and sustainable.
