Inhoud

Employees have to work longer and experiencing more and more work pressure. The physiotherapist is important in analyzing and reducing mental and physical stress factors that are related to work. In addition, the physiotherapist is competent in different mental and physical stress-reducing techniques. During various previous courses, the student has gained experience in reduced participation by means of written cases. Within this course the student performs a work analysis at a person who works with complaints.

Also physiotherapeutic methods that can be applied to nonspecific musculoskeletal problems such as back pain, neck pain and shoulder pain, which often are workrelated, will be discussed.

Complex work-related health problems are also addressed. This enables the student to better respond to complex work-related complaints that put the sustainable employability of workers under pressure. Attention is paid to both acute complaints and care in the post-rehabilitation phase, in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
