  • Based on the planning, the student plans, coordinates and monitors the progress with the aim of effective cooperation and feasibility of the activities.
  • The student collects and analyses information about the issue and can substantiate the usability for the research with the aim of coming up with a proposal that the client can use.
  • The student carries out the activities (work visits, etc.) for the purpose of further research and is able to connect the previously acquired information and new information with the aim of forming a complete picture of the theme.
  • Based on the information obtained, the student comes up with a substantiated proposal about the issue and the relevance for other organisations and their own work context.
  • In addition, the student submits a process report with an emphasis on their own/role contribution.

Content elective module Healthcare & Technology

In this elective module, students will work on practical issues in the field of Care and Technology. This is not about technological devising or developing, but about the question of how existing technology can be applied or deployed to support/solve issues in Care and Welfare. The reason can be diverse: from healthcare-related issues to solutions for staff shortages.

In addition to the technological innovation itself, there is always an implementation issue. Which lessons from change management can be included in the implementation of technological solutions? How can the innovative capacity with regard to technology be increased? What is needed to get the various relevant stakeholders on board, so that the innovation will actually be used, etc.

In this elective module, you will work together with other students on a practical issue in the field of Care and Technology. You will work as a group, which also means a focus on collaboration and organization among each other and coordination with the client. At the start of the elective module, stakeholders clarify the issue and there is room to ask additional questions. Students then work in groups on the issue based on question articulation.
