Inhoud

The objective of the assignments in the Resilient Communities module ‘What is it like to live in ..... [case study area]?’ is for the student to learn how to make contact with the residents and their neighbourhood, as well as how to develop a deeper understanding of them and their needs, so the student can carry out assignments in co-creation with the residents. It is important that the student also considers the interests and concerns of the residents, what is important to them and particularly how they perceive their living environment. The student should subsequently incorporate this information in their design process. Obviously the influence of the spatial area on these social issues are part of this course, since the spatial area can stimulate the usage and increase the value for a neighbourhood from the social perspective.
